Transcription: Windows Configuration Manager adds to itself special device drivers called enumerators, programs that act as the interface between the operating system and the different devices. There are bus enumerators, enumerators for a special type of bus called SCSI or small computer system interface, port enumerators, and more. Windows asks each enumerator to identify which devices the enumerator is going to control and what resources it needs.
